Summary: I was looking for a hard drive for my Dell laptop but what I got was a hard drive that was configured for a MAC. and when I contacted company I was told to send it back so they could reconfigure it for a PC and at my expense.
Summary: For my previous dying drive of same make and model. Not really of comment of this drive but these sorts of drives can get hot in the laptop section because poor air flow. Recommend getting cooling fan pad for laptop and maybe even elevating laptop slightly with post it note pad to improve air circulation. Always backup your data. BEWARE.
Summary: Swapped out my 80gb hard drive for this one and love the results. No more deleting demos or games to make room for new ones. Haven't noticed any stutter as some reviews stated for western digital drives.
Summary: I bought this as a replacement for the 120GB hard drive that came with my laptop (a Toshiba A205-S5804). For ethical reasons I'm very concerned about the country-of-origin of the parts I buy, so I was glad to find that this drive is made in Korea, where wages are much better than in China. The only issue I've had with it is that it is a bit too small for the drive bay in my laptop, so it can flop around.
