It incorporates a TuMR head with wireless suspension design, device initiated bearing spindle motor technology, and load/ unload head technology. It is also ATA SMART compliant which it checks the reliability itself. Additionally, it also features ATA automatic acoustic management, ATA 48-bit address, ATA streaming and ATA device configuration overlay. SilentSeek feature minimizes the mechanical excitation generated by any resonance, virtually eliminating the source of seek acoustic noise. Meanwhile, ImpacGuard eliminates vibration of an HDD disc when not assisted by the helping head media, which is parked in the landing zone.
