High hopes come crashing down

Summary: Makes me rethink about buying any more samsung products. If you have an issue you should be able to find answers without jumping through flaming hoops!
Pros: Worked for 18 months if that's a pro?!?
Cons: Died after 18 months of light use in a notebook. Then the nightmare starts of trying to navigate samsung's website only to find a one roadblock after another. I can't even send an email for this registered drive to ask a question through their website. I have purchased tablets and phones with the samsung brand name and now this problem. I've had to return bad drives before (it happens) but never have I had such a problem just asking a warranty question. When placed as...
Worked for about a year and then catastrophically failed

Summary: I tried to contact Samsung on their web site. They have an online chat... that conveniently does not deal with SSDs. :) They gave me an 800 number to call instead. Moreover when I tried to send them an email, the page that I was supposed to use did not even load correctly and I got stuck on that step as well.... So good luck contacting their support if something goes wrong!
Pros: I was first quite pleased with it, especially after reading all the reviews. Although the drive was not the fastest SSD out there. It was easy to install...
Cons: I purchased two in Oct. 2012. Now Jan. 2014, one drive unexpectedly failed. I had it installed as drive C: with Windows 8 on it, but this morning while rebooting Windows failed to boot. When I booted up into recovery console and did C:\ DIR I got 0 files. So here you go, Samsung...
Summary: Purchased for new system build on the basis of the stellar Samsung 830 reputation. Worked long enough to install/validate Windows 7 and a few standard programs (Firefox, Steam, etc.), then died completely in the middle of a game install. Unrecognized by BIOS, even after switching every combination of SATA cables, ports, power supply cables, etc. Even tried hooking it up over the included USB cable to a different computer. No dice. RIP, Samsung SSD.
Cons: Not long after installing Windows 8 I began getting disk read errors, then it got to the point that the PC wouldn't even boot. Replaced the drive with a Crucial SSD, and all the problems went away. Installed this Samsung SSD as a second drive to see if I could at least use it for data storage, but no luck! Even as a second drive, it would most of the time prevent my PC from even booting. Now it won't even format! Ripped this piece of crud out of my PC and the with jus...
Summary: I have bought this after looking at great reviews it had. It looks like it is hit or miss kind of thing. I cannot copy anything to the drive that is shipped to me; it keeps giving me unable to write at sector error. I have tried everything that I found in web/forums. Samsung customer service is no help. Sadly, I had to return the item.
Summary: This drive had me convinced it was great and reliable, until suddenly, in an instant and with no warning whatsoever, all 300GB or so of data I had on it simply vanished. My Dell XP 17 (L702X) laptop with Window 7 Ulitmate simply could not read the drive. The only thing I could do was format the drive to attempt to again use it. I don't know about others, but as a professional, any such loss of data for no reason is totally unacceptable. Samsung simply blew it for me.
Pros: Good speed and capacity, as well as bood bundled maintenance software.
Cons: Failed for no reason after seven months of light use; one day all my data was simply gone, and the drive had to be formatted to again use it.
Summary: Drive is great, but this worthless program is worse than the bubonic plague. The design team should not be allowed to reproduce, forced to eat p*&p for nourishment, and mandated to listen to the spice girls forever. Mentally challenged children have better program ideas than this. This program is a sign from Satan that he really exist. Ray Charles has a better chance of driving a car than this program has to succeed. Cave men are embarrassed by this program.
Pros: This program cannot get any worse...does that qualify as a con? Totally worthless...I have seen paraplegics more effective while trying to run.
Cons: This program invented cons...cons aren't as bad as this program. I would rather have cancer than use this program.
