Summary: Purchased to use on my original MacBook Air. Unit did not fit well and cable kept slipping out of ZIF connector. After less than 2 months of use the unit failed. Do not buy this brand. I made the mistake of not doing a good online search to get feedback on this brand.
Summary: I brought this SSD for my dell mini9. It is much faster than the original one installed in mini9. However, once it was suddenly broken, the BIOS in my laptop does not recognize the SSD, instead, it reads that "YATOPDONG BEARFOOT" The reason I tell you "Do not buy runcore SSD" is that there is no way...
Summary: These drives are very fast, too bad they don't last long. Have a 16GB that is 1 year old (still has a year of warranty left) and they will not replace it. Unless you order directly from their site in Hong Kong, you basically get zero warranty. I will never purchase runcore products again.
Summary: I travel a lot and recently lost data on my hard disk drive from rough use. So I was happy to swap the the Apple rotating disk out for this RunCore SSD. I get more security and a tiny bit more storage space. Now my BMAir crashes upon waking from sleep.
Summary: I bought a runcore ssd for my HP Mini 1000, it fits and worked for a week. But the partition or MBR kept messing up. I had to reinstall the os several times and used different drives. All this time wasted in trying to make use of the porduct went moot. Why does the MBR keep getting messed up!
Beware! This Runcore won't work with MacBook Air Rev A!

Summary: This particular model (at least as fulfilled by MemoryC) actually is not the correct version of the drive for the MacBook Air Rev A. Runcore makes two versions of their 1.8 ZIF PATA drive: RCP-IV-Z1864-MCNV RCP-IV-Z1864-MCAV The "MCAV" is made for MacBook Air Rev A.
Summary: Pros - Good drive while it lasts Cons - Lasted about 10 months and died without warning. Received an initial response from service department indicating it was in warranty and that they would send an RMA, then they went completely dark.
Summary: As per the previous reviewer's experience, the drive is fast but causes the MacBook Air to hang repeatedly (non-stop spinning beach ball of death until powered off). MemoryC - the vendor - have a policy saying they won't refund items that've been opened, but they admit they're aware of this problem...
