  • Conclusion: The Runcore 64gb SSD is truly something that will turn the little EeePC into something you never thought possible, a real computer and not a toy! Tossing the Runcore SSD into the EeePC 900a truly brings new life to this little PC and makes it much more usable. The difference is night and day between the little Asus SSD and the Runcore SSD. There is one flaw to this product, and that’s the price, coming in at about $250, it costs more than the netbook itself even new.

  • Summary: The RunCore Pro IV is one of the fastest SSDs we've ever tested. Its excellent performance on our most important test--opening Photoshop under stress--shows that it is a great drive for anyone who does a lot of multitasking. However, with a current MSRP of $449, it is anywhere from $75 to $100 more expensive than the OCZ Vertex , which offers similar performance and even edges out the Pro IV by a hair on many of our other tests.

Pamięcią główną jest szesnaście układów pamięci wielopoziomowej flash produkcji Microna. Pierwotnie dysk jest wyposażonyw interfejs SATA II. Do napędu producent dodaje mostek z tego gniazda na USB, dzięki czemu napęd po zamknięciu w gustownej obudowie może służyć za dysk przenośny.
