Absolutely fantastic. I replaced an old
Summary: Absolutely fantastic. I replaced an old, standard, drive in my PC with this affordable SSD and the machine is better than new. So much faster. My bootup times went from 2min to <1min. If you are even thinking about installing a SSD in your PC, DO IT. Note, this drive is too small for older, large tower racks. I bought a $6 bracket to mount it securely. Works perfectly.
The other SSDs I've bought are working just fine (Crucial and San Disk) though

Summary: Well, I've had this drive for a little over 5 months...and it no longer works. The other SSDs I've bought are working just fine (Crucial and San Disk) though, so I doubt its a technology issue. I've assuming that I just got a bad as I've bought stuff from PNY before that didn't fail on me.
Lag issue and poor over the phone customer service by PNY
21 October 2014
Summary: There was a lag issue with my SSD 2 months in after I received it. At first I would notice small lags and it wouldn't effect me too much cause it would last for about a second. After 4 months the lags would last for 5-10 seconds and It's time I had to trouble shoot the issue. I checked my WHOLE system taking apart my build piece by piece until I ran a scan with CrystalDisk and it told me The life of the SSD was at 87%.
Summary: I own this SSD for around half a year. This boots Windows 7 at least 40% faster than my HDD. My two complaints are the read/write speeds are slower than what they claim and the life span is also less (I do not do that many read/writes on this SSD), but that is not enough to take off a star because of the price I bought this for. Also, SSD prices are falling and SSDs are getting faster and faster so as long as this lasts over 4 years, I am happy.
Summary: One of the best upgrades you can make is switching to a SSD. The boot and shut down times are super fast. This isn't the fastest drive on the market but still very good. Pros- Everything Cons- None I can think of but there are faster drives out on the market but this one is very good especially for the price. You won't regret your purchase when you power on your computer and within seconds Windows is ready.
Summary: At first it was great, but it already died. I purchased the 120gb ssd April 21 st. Installed it on my machine and the primary Drive for the OS only. Setup for trim and away it went, it was great for the first three months. But starting around 10th of August it just started giving me errors and crashing my machine.
Summary: Great value for an SSD; will bring new-life to older computers with its speed. But be careful: this SSD is 9.5mm thick unlike others that are 7mm - so check your application. For example, this SSD will not fit in the older Acer C710 chromebooks with out some physical modifications (like removing the SSD electronics from it metallic case and voiding warranty). However it works nicely in an older Dell D620/D630 laptop, with its SATA interface - slides right in.
