Summary: Installed in a fairly new Dell with an i7 processor I just replaced the HD at the #1 position and did a clean install of Win7 Home and the Pro upgrade! All is working flawlessly! I then reconnected the 1TB HD in the #3 position as the series data cable was too short for the #2 position given the setback of SSD! It boots directly from SSD and ignores the HD windows install! Eventually I will do a format of the 1TB Hard Drive when all files that I need are off it.
Summary: This drive actually benchmarked as rated (unlike some SSDs). I spent a little more on this rather than getting a cheap 128GB SSD and I'm glad I did. It's super fast. I'm currently running Windows 8 Pro off it and I can't complain about this drive at all. The mounting bracket is a nice touch and is high quality. I ended up not needing it, but it'll go in the parts bin.
Summary: I had the Plextor 128GB with great success. The M5S 128GB was great, very stable and very quick and reliable. The only downside- 128GB. After purchasing the 512GB M5Pro, the speed is even fast and is also more reliable. Although the pricetag is a bit hefty, when you break it down, I do believe it's very worth the investment.
