Pros: Win 7 Intel i7 Desktop and medium to heavy use. Very happy with this SSD and would recommend. Maybe not the speediest in all application, yet not a slouch at all. Great deal for this at 90 dollars with a promo code.
Summary: The Good: Have 2 M5 pro in raid 0 for over 1 year working great.Using them for windows 8.1 pro 64-bit. Trim is enabled but the ssd has garbage collection. Have hard drives for storage of games.Running 1.05 verision firmare, not upgrade to new firmware, I have no problems.Tech support is great called before purchace, was able to answer all questions. Does have 5 year warranty.

Summary: I have had this drive in my work laptop since December 11th 2012....almost 2 years. This laptop runs 24x7 and is effectively a desktop replacement. The Plextor drive is my main drive and where I have the OS installed, It has been a great drive with no issues and very high IO rates under different tests.
Installed it in a Drobo 5N many months ago, and have had no troubles whatsoever.

Summary: Back in the day, Plextor made some amazing optical drives -- the best. And while that may not have at all reflected on the quality of what this product would be, I did like the idea of it. I purchased this to put in a Drobo 5N in order to speed up transfers of "Hot Cached" files. I believe it does fill that role, but without with / without testing, I can't confirm for sure if it is giving me the huge increase that I would most certainly love to have.
Summary: Bought the Plextor and a Samsung Pro at the same time. The Plextor simply out performs anything I've seen. The Drive die in the first two weeks but Plextor replaced it with overnight shipping at their cost. I've worked with virually all storage manufacturers over the years and know their RMA policy is to provide Refurbs if they have them over new stock. This is just the cost of doing business.
Pros: This is one of the fastest SSD's on the market. It screems past the Samsung I have. Has been operating flawlessly for over a year. If you've been dissapointed by the other drive manufacturers, you won't be with Plextor. The are top noch!
Cons: One con is that the intial drive died and because its electroninc memory all data will always be a total loss. RMA and had a NEW one in 3 days.
