Summary: I should have read the reviews - I should have listened! I've been building PCs all my life, and finally decided to move to SSD in February 2013. Bought one of these, and it failed - completely, utterly, totally - October 2013.
Summary: My experience is the following: * Great fast drive that makes a world a difference. After using a SSD I'll never go back to a regular hard drive * This drive failed after 16 months of use in a desktop * The OCZ support and RMA process is so bad that I will never to buy this brand again, even though...
Summary: Stay far away! I purchased this in August 2012 and it failed within 6 months. OCZ replaced it (with the same drive) and that one has failed in less than 6 months. I will once again have to go through the RMA process if OCZ will agree to replace the 2nd defective drive.
Summary: I purchased two of these drives in September. Within 2 weeks one had failed. I received a replacement. Within 2 more weeks, the replacement drive failed. I am not longer comfortable using these drives in my systems and have returned them all.
Summary: After installing Win7 on the drive on my laptop it worked for arround a month and a week, after that once I received an error "No boot sector", on that occasion I just restart the laptop and start working again, one week later after using the computer just gracefully turn off the laptop and the...
Summary: I had hoped to use this as the primary drive on my new PC. When I installed it, the system did not recognize it so, I tried it as a second drive in another drive. Still no luck so I contacted OCZ. They processed and exchange without any questions.
Summary: I was very happy with this drive. I had it installed in my wife's laptop with is a 2009 machine and the performance boost was noticeable. I also have a Vertex 4 (SATA III) installed on a SATA II machine and found this drive was almost as fast as the Vertex 4 (which is one of best & fastest SSDs in...
Summary: I received the drive and it would not be read on ANY type of computer. So I returned it and blatantly asked for and exchange not a refund and even personally talked to the dealer to make sure that happened. And due to their incompetence it was not exchanged.
Summary: Got a great deal on this SSD to upgrade my wife's aging MacBook Pro 2009. Migration was a cinch, but on the first (and second) attempt to do a Time Machine backup, the drive locked up the machine. So, it's going back.
