Summary: purchased this September 5, 2013 and as of today the refurbished one i received has finally died and i dont think i can RMA this one again to get a replacement. Worked well when it worked but i bought two of these to raid and both had to be RMA'd. i used this as the OS drive in my media PC and failed to be recognized when i rebooted it last night (7/22/2014). Pretty crapy IMO. not gona buy from OCZ again. 3 stars for their easy RMA procedure.
Summary: Installed this drive on my 2nd Gen i7 laptop one year ago. Performancewise, I'd give it 5 solid stars. Windows boots ultra fast, programs open faster. You simply don't want to use another computer once you have this. Never benchmarked it or anything, but I could definitely feel a noticeable difference between running windows on my WD Blue and this SSD. Unfortunately 11 months later I suddenly got a blue screen of death.
Summary: These SSDs are really fast, and really great, when they're not failing. Unfortunately many of them shipped with a firmware that will just corrupt your OS on a sunny day and have you raging out hard. In total, via work or personal, I've overseen the purchase of 4 of these. to my knowledge only 1 of those 4 has completely failed and had to be RMA'd 75% success rate? That's a C+ right? ie 3 stars.
Summary: This Solid state drive is fast, and I've been very impressed (5-star impressed) with it up until this week. I've had this for almost 9 months, and it's went and died on me. It has a 5-year warranty, so I'm not too upset about it, but it doesn't deserve over a 3-star regardless.
Summary: I bought several of these for testing. Out of a handful one failed after approximately 3 months. Died from one moment to the other - no chance of data retrieval. So open up the support ticket which leads to a first session of troubleshooting until you have convinced the other party that the drive is indeed dead. The case then get handed over to the rma department etc..
Summary: This drive was awesome to start. I never had an SSD before. Within a month it died for no reason. I will turn this review to a 5 when I get the drive replaced by warranty. Besides the drive dying it was an awesome little bugger.
Defective product (buggy initial firmware) and poor support

Summary: Pros: Worked really great when it worked... Cons: HDD made it less than 1 week. SSD died and not longer detected. Requested an RMA through OCZ. My RMA was acknowledged and item was sent in for RMA with tracking#. OCZ signed off the RMA package and subsequently claimed that the item was lost from package after 5 days from the date package was delivered.
Summary: I used this for a week before the SSD failed on me out of the blue. Luckily I only had a fresh OS installed while my docs were on an external drive. I was impressed with the boot times and write and read speeds. Since I didn't get to try it long enough, not sure how it holds over time, it has TRIM support but can't say how well it does. The software from OCZ falls a bit short of my expectations since I've used Samsung's Magician software.
