fast, bricked due to firmware

Summary: Just submitted RMA request to OCZ. If they screw up the deal I will update this. If all goes smooth I probably won't bother. Use the flathead screws to mount the drive in the caddy, the rounded head screws to mount the caddy in the tower. The orientation of the items is not obvious and takes a bit of trial and error.
Pros: Fast, small, comes with 3.5"caddy. 5 year warranty. OCZ support seems pretty good.
Cons: If you don't upgrade to firmware version 3.0 it is likely the drive will fully brick without warning. This happened to me after 11 months of use, as I missed the firmware update notice a few months ago.
Summary: Unstable.. I went through five of these, 3 were casual restarts, and 2 were whilst over clocking. Would NOT recommend this, but OCZ sent me a Vertex 4, and it has been alive for the past 8 months, running strong and super fast! Wish I would of purchased it in the first place. 3/5 stars for the superb customer support that OCZ has given me! I am a loyal customer to them for that!
SUPER fast, but after only 10 months my computer ...

Summary: SUPER fast, but after only 10 months my computer screen freezes and the drive stops working. I take it out, plug it in and it wont even recognize in bios or boot up. Now I have to send it back to the manufacturer for repair.

Summary: purchased this September 5, 2013 and as of today the refurbished one i received has finally died and i dont think i can RMA this one again to get a replacement. Worked well when it worked but i bought two of these to raid and both had to be RMA'd. i used this as the OS drive in my media PC and failed to be recognized when i rebooted it last night (7/22/2014). Pretty crapy IMO. not gona buy from OCZ again. 3 stars for their easy RMA procedure.
Pros: This drive was amazingly fast. It was ahead of it's time with a true read/write of over 500mb/sec... I put it in a laptop of mine, and hot dang that thing loaded up super fast... All that changed though when it suddenly died on me.
Cons: This thing did the normal thing that is happening to all these drives..... It died. I had to reboot my laptop a few times after installing some stuff. In one of those installs, I did a hard power boot. After restarting from that, the drive through a bunch of corrupt data file errors when booted to windows. I tried rebooted a few more times, and on the 4th reboot, "drive not detected"... The laptop no longer recognized the drive. I tried it in 3 other computers, and it...
Summary: Installed this drive on my 2nd Gen i7 laptop one year ago. Performancewise, I'd give it 5 solid stars. Windows boots ultra fast, programs open faster. You simply don't want to use another computer once you have this. Never benchmarked it or anything, but I could definitely feel a noticeable difference between running windows on my WD Blue and this SSD. Unfortunately 11 months later I suddenly got a blue screen of death.
Summary: I will probably never buy another OCZ product just because of the bad customer support. Be aware!
Pros: Quiet, fast and stable drive.
Cons: When swapping out my drive, the power SATA connector broke. I am very careful with all of my electonics, but this piece broke. I contacted customer support, and they said they don't warranty accidental damage. This is somewhat understandable, but did not want to help me in ANY fashion. This is horrible customer support.
