Premature Failure stings more by poor warranty response.

Summary: 2.5 years after install, the unit failed suddenly without warning. I filed a warranty claim with OCZ which required I send it back to them. (My system BIOS indicated the drive failed and to verify, I attached it to another PC's SATA port.). They received it on a Mon. and acknowledged receipt.
Instead I have replaced it with an VTR150-25SAT3-120G and excellent work. Do not give it 5 stars because ...

Summary: I was hurt shortly after purchase, but shoulder the OCZ support as they have changed the hard drive smoothly, just asked me purchase information and the damage and I have changed the same covering them spending a year and a half later, the guarantee 5 years is real.
Summary: I wasted 500USD on this drive, it died on me over one year of use. When I went to search for the numbers of their return rates and they are FRIGHTENING (taken from slashdot.org) : 2011:[...] Early 2012:[...] Late 2012:[...] Early 2013: [...
Summary: I was initially pretty excited about trying an SSD out. I did my research and was under the assumption that this OCZ Vector would be the best i could get for the money. When i first got the drive and plugged it in to my motherboard it initially had a little trouble getting recognized by the bios,...
Summary: Crashed after a Week. Went though all the hoops from OCZ to recover the drive, but my PC wont even detect it in the system BIOS. The I found out that OCZ doesn't honor warranty if you bought it from Amazon. So the "5 year warranty" stuff is all a big lie.
Summary: The drive worked fine for about 6 months and then it died completely. OCZ will not honor a warranty for an item purchased through Amazon. They will tell you “The limited warranty applies only to products purchased through an authorized retailer and only for the original purchaser of the product.
Summary: Dead after 3 months. When I got it and installed, it didn't want to format properly, citing I/O errors. I really didn't want to return it then, wanted to play mah games, and on the third day of trying I was able to get a partition, threw windows on it, and all was good.
Summary: Returned a different brand because of problems and got this instead. This too was giving problems right off the bat. Error message would read. "non-system disk press any key' at start up.Contacted OCZ about problem, Very helpful I must admit. He gave me several options to fix, which I tried.
Summary: Impressive performance, worked great had latest firmware out of the box. This is ridiculously good money for value performance right here. September 5th 2013 Update: After owning this drive for less than 189 days, it has already failed.
