  • Summary: - General This is a herald of things to come. With SATA II (3Gbps) becoming saturated by modern SSD's this drive, essentially 4 Vertex drives on an onboard RAID0 configuration feeding through a PCIe x8 lane. Extreme read-write speeds are achieved without problems and equivalent performance can only be achieved by SATAII RAID arrays that most mainstream user have difficulties configuring. - Pros * Excellent speeds in all usage scenarios (i.e.

Transwarp Conduit Does Exist

  • Summary: We're using this drive in a database server and our primary goal was to increase performance. We're seeing about a 40% improvement in performance during high read times and writes are about the same as before. While we will continue to adjust table structure / queries / data layout to improve performance, given the price of this drive, it's a superb performance boost for a very reasonable cost.
