Disapointed, but still usable
3 January 2013
Summary: I bought this thinking i would have 64 GB of free space to use on the SSD, and it could possibly host my OS as my first SSD. though upon installation, it was only a 32GB drive, with an additional 32GB saved for "Dataplexing". I set up dataplexing and now use the other 32GB as temporary storage while working on projects. It is still really fast, but i was hoping to get more usable space out it.
Be very warned, some boxes say 64M but 32G comes in them!
TB-10 Pilot "George", Amazon

Summary: The amazon description or OCZs quality control stinks. The box I received clearly states 64Meg but the drive is a 32 gig drive. I wanted to make sure it just wasn't initialized wrong by Windows so I hooked it up to my Sata3 port on my MacBook Pro and used Disk Utility to init it so both exFat and GUID format. Both came back at 32 gig! I'm considering a return, but all I wanted it for was for the Windows 7 ReadyBoost function so 32 gig is ok.
Summary: I purchased this drive to install on a Vista Home Premium machine. The physical install went well enough, but the downloaded software refused to install, declaring I had the wrong operating system. After several attempts and repeated downloads, I contacted OCZ customer support and the technician advised me the software would only install on Windows 7. Nowhere in any review of this product did I see that limit. He admitted it was buried in one page of system requirements.
