OMG people cant read
Amazon Customer "DM", Amazon
15 March 2013
Summary: The decryption clearly states it uses half the drive as cache its probably the reason this drive is discounted on amazon because people failed to read it & returned it. Which sucks because it does clearly what it state & performs great at a low price.
Be very warned, some boxes say 64M but 32G comes in them!

Summary: The amazon description or OCZs quality control stinks. The box I received clearly states 64Meg but the drive is a 32 gig drive. I wanted to make sure it just wasn't initialized wrong by Windows so I hooked it up to my Sata3 port on my MacBook Pro and used Disk Utility to init it so both exFat and...
Summary: Wow what a difference ! Main thing was shipping was lightning fast, Was here in 2 days. Its my first SSD cache, Price was 99.00 then 20 on top of that for the rebate from OCZ. Can't beat that with a stick. Its made me decide to go raid with SSD's, Just have to find 2 good ones at 250 Gigs.
Warning! The accompanying software does NOT work with a secondary drive!

Summary: I bought these drives (2 64GB Synapse) in order to speed up disk/file access on two machines that have Windows 7 installed on small SSDs, but everything else is on spinning metal. Big mistake. After being directed to download the software, I noticed a LIMITATIONS link.
Summary: These are terrible if you are buying it to use as a disk drive. I bought one of these in the 128GB model. It only showed up as 64GB. I Returned it, and got another. Same problem. They should not advertise these as twice the capacity than that which shows up in the Bios/OS.
Dataplex software is the real weakness for this product
12 May 2012
Summary: The drive might be fantastic if you can get the dataplex software working correctly (and keep it working). Unfortunately this software is very buggy. Any time there is a problem caching is silently disabled. To "solve" the problem you need to uninstall and reinstall the software.
Summary: I put this device into service on 4/25/12, after purchasing it from Amazon. I'm happy with the noticable performance boost to date, and expect a little more improvement as the software "learns" my habits. Installation was uneventful.
Summary: I purchased this drive to install on a Vista Home Premium machine. The physical install went well enough, but the downloaded software refused to install, declaring I had the wrong operating system.
Summary: I am a power user. My main PC is an i7-950 Xeon W3550 with 12 GB of triple channel ECC DDR-1600 and a 2 GB Quadro 4000. Needless to say, any limitations I have in day-to-day use are generally due to the relatively slow HD.
Summary: Absolutely no issue with this product or the install. I foresee a huge productivity gain i.e. The responsiveness of the puters have more than doubled. Programs open faster, files open faster and browsers work faster for research, huge pay back Regards, Rob Williams MEP Precision Detailers
