Great but

Douggy Fresh, Amazon
7 June 2014
  • Summary: I get a Performance rating of just 7.6 on a win7 64bit i7. This is effectively your C drive so and you know how quickly that fills up. It plugs into your PCI slot, so you need a bit of effort (and a floppy disk for the raid drivers) to tell it that this card is now your C drive. SSD drivers don't last as long a standard drives - not found this to be true. Runs cool and is a tiny card.

"So quick it makes me smile"

mjc100 "mjc100", Amazon
29 November 2013
  • Summary: I use the drive to boot win7. Setting it up was painless with the clear and simple instructions. (All things for computers should be this good). In comparison, win7 boots faster than the time it takes to run bios and self check (on Asus Rampage IV Formula MB). It saves me time everyday. I use a 3D drafting program with the a auto save feature. The drive is so fast, I don't realize that the program is saving the file I am working on.

Awesome drive

jondercik, Amazon
24 June 2013
  • Summary: I just ordered this drive and installed it as a data drive in Windows with no problems. I get about 1200 MB/sec read and 1300 MB/sec write with ATTO. It is really speedy and is allowing me to really clean up my case and make it look much nicer. It replaced, and is faster than a 8 drive RAID 0 array, and boots much quicker under Win 7 x64. I would definitely recommend this drive to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Significant improvement to system speed

Drudger, Amazon
6 May 2013
  • Summary: Replaced my "C:\" drive on a high end desktop system. Boot time and large application load times improved markedly. This was an expensive upgrade, but very well worth it in my case. I do lots of multitasking on my system, and now it doesn't seem to make any difference how many applications are running at once (even running Photoshop while burning a BluRay DVD).

OCZ Revo Drive 3 X2 Works on MSI BIG Bang-Xpower (MS-7666) X58 board!

John O, Amazon
21 March 2013
  • Summary: So, I've only had this drive a few days. I have already read that this SSD can get really hot, so I already got myself a small ball baring fan that I was able to screw on the heat sink. When installing the Windows Disk at boot, I followed the instructions to the T for this drive and when/how to instal the driver, it's very specific to do it correctly when you intend to use it for a Boot drive. So here is the thing...
