Summary: $300+ for this one and i believe it does what it says. I had troubles believing it but. it took ME days to see the BIG speed increases and webpages came up and bootup time was, plus the ease of slapping it into a PCI-E 16X slot. I was scared at first but the computer went BEEP! and said 240 Gig 6Gps ...what can you say. This cost is for me is HIGH! I would like to see this in the $200 ~166 range to be worth switching EVERYTHING over Disk-less!. HINT HINT!
Summary: If you install a clean new install for windows you have to unzip the driver on a usb to load it for windows to even recognize the drive. Very fast! I run lightroom and photoshop noticeably faster then on a Sata III SSD like the vertex3 that I used to have. I haven't used it for games so I don't know anything about that aspect of the drive.

Summary: This drive is awesomely fast and very simple to setup. If your buying a drive like this you should know to put the drivers on the usb stick your installing your OS from and your good to go. I keep 2 of these drives around to run small databases off of and I couldn't be happier with the IO.
Summary: So far this Revo Drive 3 Series 240GB drive has worked flawlessly. I am using this as my Steam Drive for all my games. So far no crashes. I was a little unsure about getting this drive do to problems I have had in the past with other OCZ SSD drives, but so far I am impressed with the speed of this drive. I can start playing a game in about 10 to 15 sec. after clicking on the game in Steam.
Summary: I got this for $179 when is was on sale, but with it being such a great buy I wouldn't hesitate to purchase @ $300 if it's what you need. Synthetic benchmarks on my computer show that I am getting above the rated Read and Write values, but there is a trick to it. Under normal operation you'll never see values like that. The benchmark software uses multithreaded operations that can saturate the throughput on the drive very easily.
Summary: First, let's get this out of the way. Installation of this HDD is different than SATA, because it's NOT SATA. The easiest way to handle initial install is: 1. Install the card to a PCIE slot. 2. unplug the other HDDs so this will be the only bootable one (we'll ignore my winki issues ...grrr) 3. Have windows on a thumb drive or in the cd rom (make sure your boot sequence is right for this) 4.
