Great for Me

Summary: If you are reading this review, I imagine that this older SSD has dropped to a deep discount and you are wondering if it is worth the risk. This was my first SSD, and the difference in speed was amazing. It was used in a desktop, and has since been replaced in that setup and moved to a netbook, where it is still performing reliably. It seems that I was lucky, so I encourage you to read other reviews and consider your odds.
Summary: I had a Seagate 320GB hdd in my 13" Aluminum MacBook (late 2008, 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, 8GB RAM) and decided to move all my videos and music to an external drive and replace the hdd with this bad baby. I did this in order to increase performance and system-wide speed, as well as just to try SSD technology out (for fun). So far, it's been an amazing experience. I giggle with delight how insanely fast my Mac operates now. The only downside is how expensive SSD storage is.
Summary: Nothing negative to say except that the 100GB in retrospect was too small because Windows wants to install everything by default to C: drive so my main drive is over 2/3 full. Superfast, just up for the larger capacity SSD.
Summary: The SSD installed very easily with windows 7. It works really fast and is a nice upgrade for a 3 year old system. The drive is fast altough it still takes my computer probably 40 seconds to boot windows 7, so don't expect instant boot.
Summary: I was not sure if this would do what it said but once I installed it and put Windows 7 on it. It really was a lot faster So far so good I have had this for some time now and because it does work faster I have now shut down my system instead of leaving it on all the time because of my old drive was slow. Just hope that soon the price of larger drives like this come down.
Summary: Delivered within a week of order. Installed it in HP laptop about a month ago. No issues! Much quieter than conventional HD. Boots and shuts down much faster and a lot cooler on lap. So far a happy customer! Very hesitant to buy based on many views of people having issues but have none.
Summary: I'll make this review simple and short. If you are looking for one of the best performing SATA II SSD's in the market now, I won't recommend anything else other than this. The speed is way faster than you can expect from a regular HDD(obviously). But the only negative I can say about this drive is the issues with putting computer to sleep if this is the OS drive(obviously will be). I am using it in my ASUS laptop with a Sandybridge i5 processor and 8GB DDR3 RAM.
Worked great, until my OCZ Vertex 2 wouldn't read anymore.

Summary: I ordered my OCZ Vertex 2 in March for my new Comp build. Now in July it stopped reading on me. You get the "bootmgr missing" it hangs everytime i boot my computer and then the bios just doesn't detect or recognize the SSD anymore. Other then that when my OCZ was working, it worked great. I had Windows 7 Pro installed on the OCZ and my games and programs on my 600gb Western digital black caviar HDD. Windows 7 was very fast.
