Excellent Drive

David Wright, Amazon
24 January 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this drive almost a year ago and it's still running strong. It has easily made my system at least twice as fast just with general activities like logging on to Windows, switching between users, opening programs, surfing the internet, etc. I would highly recommend this drive.

  • Summary: Though not the latest SSD, it combines good performance with a great value. Installation was easy with the included 3.5" adapter.

OCZ Technology 120 GB Agility 2 Series SATA II 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive (SSD)

Steve Lee, Amazon
28 November 2011
  • Summary: This is a great product. Not only does it cut down on boot time, but it makes installing apps a snap as well. It is large enough to have all your programs installed on it. I use a second disk to store all my data.

Fast and Love it

Tuan, Amazon
25 May 2011
  • Summary: The bottleneck in my system was my HDD (was 4.8 per Windows Experience Index) and it's boosted to 7.2. Thanks to this little guy. It's small, light weight and cool. I used it as my primary boot drive and all data is in other drives. And Amazon showed the lowest price and that's why I bought it here. Along with it I also use Soluto-AntiFrustration software to tune up my booting process to further shorten the booting time in the system.

  • Summary: After a little trouble getting it set up it runs great. Very fast, I would hate to go back to a slow hard drive again.

Try it, you'll like it!

Frozen Tundra, Amazon
13 March 2011
  • Summary: I install very little software on my computer, so this is perfect...and fast...very fast! I tweaked Windows 7 and moved the internet temp folder onto the older D drive. Not much of a tweak, but figured the temp folder gets written and rewritten often and I didn't want it on the OCZ drive. Starting applications is lightening quick. I've heard of failures with SSD drives and was leary of jumping into this, but so far I am pleased bigtime with my new OCZ drive.

Excellent SSD

SagaYoung, Amazon
29 November 2010
  • Summary: After experiencing this SSD for about two weeks, my impression towards it is that it is really fast. No matter in windows start, application lunch, and gaming experience, this SSD greatly reduces the waiting time. The write speed is also very fast, due to the SandForce-1200 controller. Although the windows experience index of hard drive was still stuck at 5.9 at first, it soars to 7.5 after firmware upgrade.

Easy upgrade

TJP, Amazon
16 November 2010
  • Summary: Used this drive to replace the original 160GB drive in a Lenovo Thinkpad X200. As you would expect, these SSD drives are much faster than the traditional hard drives. I used Acronis TrueImage to create a backup image. It worked perfectly to restore Windows 7 Pro(32). With the new drive applications start much faster. Chrome pops up instantly and even Firefox only takes a few seconds.

Brings New Life to Your Notebook

Robert Salita "Software Developer", Amazon
30 October 2010
  • Summary: Rare that a product has so many winning benefits. I now own ten different SSDs (all 2010 models of various capacities and speeds) from OCZ, Kingston, Western Digital, Intel and Samsung. While this drive is rated at the theoretical maximum SATA 2 transfer rate, honestly, I can't tell the difference between their speeds in day-to-day use. They are all very fast -- much, much faster than the original notebook drives they replaced.
