OCZ not reliable with rebates

jeezam, Amazon
3 July 2013
  • Summary: Drive works find but OCZ did not deliver on the rebate. I submit a lot of rebate requests so I know what the different artifacts are (UPC label, original receipt, completion of submission form). Their website provided a very generic and terse rejection description like "incomplete information". If this is a consistent theme and they're simply nickle-and-diming customers for profit I hope other users will provide similar feedback.

Solid(no pun int) mid performing drive

Adrian J. Lind "adrianlind", Amazon
13 September 2009
  • Summary: I paid $200 for this when drive prices were inflated by windows 7 impending release and I couldn't get the Intel drive. It is faster then the intel drive in only two of twelve read/write situations and since the X25-M G2 is available now and within $40, I would buy the intel drive. That said it works well in my 2006 Mac Mini media server w/ Snow Leopard, reboot takes 36 seconds, application launch is less then 2 seconds for any app.
