Not a good idea to trust high or large capacity ssd. Expensive and who knows when the ssd stop working.

Summary: Everything was working fine on this ssd kingstone hyper x k5, until my pc freezes windows, I turn off the pc then I turn on and windows do not show up. I tried to isntall windows 8.1 again and the do not even recognize the ssd. I tried to install the ssd in another laptop and not recognized it. I figure out the ssd is death trying as an external hard drive to back up my data.
Summary: Died after less than a year of use. For months prior to its untimely death, I would have to repair errors on the drive daily. Stay away, far, far away from this POS. I have since replaced this POS with a Samsung 840 PRO.
Summary: I bought 2 of these drives for my desktop computer, these were my first SSD's and I was afraid of how it was gonna turn out. Before this I used 3 WD 2tb black hard drives in RAID 0 and im going to continue using those and these at the same time. These in RAID 0 are blazing fast that it's friggen ridiculous. Love it.
Summary: My old SSD scored a 7.9 on the Windows Experience Index. This one scored a 7.7 on the same machine. Not as high as I was hoping but let’s be honest, that’s close enough! This drive runs great and boot-up times are about 27 to 30 seconds.
Summary: The SSD drive is very fast and extremely large. It works great in the fast quad core workstation. It was delivered on time and exceeds my expectation. I am using it in an ICY_DOC MB882SP-1S-2B drive converter to 3.5 inch and that works great also.
Summary: This is mostly for Mac users: I have installed this drive inside a mid 2009 15" MacBook Pro 5,3. I bought this drive based on other reviews. Turns out it was NOT worth it. It's not "blazing fast" as some are suggesting, but it does make a difference. I've had some issues running Snow Leopard at the beginning, but only because the drive came with an older firmware version.
Summary: For people wanting 1TB SSD for their PS3 Slim this is the right SSD. Boot time didn't get better but installing game, loading games, and ect did get improve on read/writer speed. This SSD did fit perfectly inside the PS3 Slim bay if you wanted to know. You all much think what a waste of SSD inside PS3 right? Had my reasons to test this out and see what time on game would get better and would XMB pop up quickly.
Summary: at the time i purchased this product the purchase page had pledge video reviews post and tops sites that agreed that this was the drive to get and spend a whopping $900 bucks on! also at advertised purchase the claims were the drive did 89K IOP's then 2months passed the whole title changed to 26K IOP's, was very disappointed with the misleading and misdirection to the truth of this drive!
