The OCZ Agility EX is a solid state drive that is available in 60GB (64) capacities. The unit features a 64MB Onboard Cache, SLC NAND, a less than 0.1 ms seek time in a 2.5 inch thick 99.8 x 69.63 x 9.3 mm / 77g form factor. The unit has an optimal operating temperature at 0C ~ 70C and should be stored in -45C ~ +85C. It has a power consumption of 2W during operation and 0.5W on standby. The Agility EX has a shock resistance value of 1500G, supports RAID and has an MTBF of 1.5 million hours. The OCZ Agility EX has a maximum read speed of 255Mbps, and a maximum write speed of 195Mbps. Sustained write speed however, is quite lower at 100Mbps.

The OCZ Agility EX is designed with the SLC (single-level cell) NAND-based storage and Indilinx controller. It is touted to deliver an enhanced computing experience with faster application loading, snappier data access, shorter boot-ups, and longer battery life. The unit provides users with performance over both conventional hard drives and MLC (multi-level cell) SSDs, and features sequential and random write speeds. It also provides an improved total cost of ownership (TCO) with its write/erase cycle endurance. The Agility EX features up to 255MB/s read and 195MB/s write speeds, 64MB of onboard cache, and performance optimization to keep the drives at peak performance. The OCZ Agility EX drive feature a durable and lightweight alloy housing, and has a 1.5 million hour mean time before failure (MTBF) The Agility EX SSD comes with a three year warranty and OCZ’s service and support.
