Summary: Combining this with a standard HDD is a good plan: use the SSD for the OS and installable programs and the HDD for storage. I set mine up so that my frequently written to folders in windows are located on the HDD (i.e. Desktop, documents, etc). This helps increase the longevity of the SSD.
Pros: 1. Lightning fast compared to an HDD. 2. Kingston is a known brand. 3. Good price for an SSD.
Summary: Bought this as a replacement drive for my wife's MacBook Pro (2009). Her's was dead, so it required complete new install. Of course the performance of an SSD over hard drive makes a computer feel like a new machine, and she's pretty tickled.
Summary: It's the best upgrade for your home computer or laptop. I did clone my hdd so I kept the same OS environment, Windows 7 now boots and is ready to go to work in less than a minute, no more hdd churning along for several minutes doing who knows what.
Summary: This SSD is flawless. It's exactly what I was looking for and I'm very happy with it. However, Newegg's shipping practices could use some work. I purchased this SSD along with a motherboard and both items were placed in a large box together with absolutely NO packaging material.
Pros: Lightning fast speeds, Prices of SSDs are very reasonable these days.
Summary: Its a Good ssd if you on low budget and no gamer.
Pros: Easy to install, Kingston is a brand to trust so i have no wories about how long it will last... Boot very fast on win 8.1 main program run faster to cant compere to an hdd for sure could be little faster for an ssd...
Cons: Could be a little faster and its only 120g Pay a little more to get the Kingston Hyper X Version You will get faster rate and a better space, That the mistake i did
