Summary: So fast when I use a flashdrive for ready boost it tells me I don't need it that the hard drive is fast enough. Boots windows in less than a minute but I should have saved up for a larger capacity but that's on me. Great buy for me.
Summary: Bought 2 of these drives 6 months back. They both died on me! Kingston took 2 months to replace them and then also the speeds are very very poor !! I'm getting 100mb/s write and 170 mb/s read !! I realised after buying these that they are by far the worst SSD's around.
Summary: The drive itself is proving to be excellent. My PC got a real shot in the arm. I can postpone replacing it for at least another year. Fitting was pretty easy but be very careful with those flimsy SATA connectors! The rest of the bundle was of limited use. The mounting brackets just did not sit right with my Case and I didn't really need the other parts. However since I bought this when the whole kit cost under $100, I still reckon it was a bargain.
Summary: Just replaced my HDD with this NEW 128gb SSD. Performs great, and met my expectations. My only problem was a bad software disk for cloning. No Big Deal, as u can download numerous programs for free online. Also Comes with whatever else u may need for internal and external use. At less than $90.00 and not a refurb, this is cheap!!!
Summary: I used this drive to upgrade my brothers PS3, which overheated constantly. After swapping the HDD with this drive, my brother is able to play for longer periods of time without the old hard drive heat, noise and freezes,
Summary: As others have said this is the wrong choice for a Mac. I get the spinning ball constantly so have decided to take this SSD out and switch to an alternative that works. Kingston don't seem to offer any support for this drive either so it's not a good choice for that reason too. There are a few models which are known to work well with Mac, so I'll opt for one of those.
