Summary: I'm using this in a new build as my boot drive for Win 7. It's my first SSD, so of course I'm impressed by what the speed of it does for app load times. I've only been using it for a couple weeks, and have experienced no anomalies. The 60GB size is just right for the OS plus installed apps.
Summary: Very fast with the Mac Book Pro Retina using the Seagate Thunderbolt adapter. Wanted to use it as a boot drive for windows 8.1, however 8.1 doesn't allow you to install it on an external drive via USB 3.0 adapter.
Summary: I have never used SSD before, but once I reviwed the requirements along with the commentary of other users I installed a fresh OS as reccomended. I paid aproximately $40 more for the KC300 than the V300, mainly because of faster read/writes times. I used an external drive as a rstore file.
Summary: The 480G Kingston solid state drive is being using in a new computer as the main C: drive. There were no problems during installation of the OS, and functioned exactly as expected from a hard drive.
The perfect OS drive for a performance computer - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Summary: I have the previous generation SATA2 V100 in my old computer and have loved it so this was a very easy choice to make. This drive is super fast. With 64bit Windows 7 Professional installed from pressing the power button to fully booted and online is only 6-7 seconds.
