toolnut, Amazon
25 June 2012

  • Summary: This is my first SSD. I am using it in the Synology DS212+ and it's awesome not to be able to hear "crunching" It's speedy but I do wish the IO count was a tiny bit higher. It comes with a 5 year warranty...hope I never have to use it.

2 year old kingston hit read write failure today

Read write, Amazon
11 March 2012
  • Summary: 2 year old Kingston 128 gb SSDNOW solid state harddrive failed today to be able to read and write. Good news is that programs and data where intact, and I could clone to another new drive. Hard part was the loss of time, to try and discover what was happening. This drive does have a five year warranty. Will let you know the hassle factor to replace it.
