Summary: We bought half a dozen of these drives, and as they were put into use we found that every one failed after 4-6 months. Every single one. They were not used heavily and were placed in different machines, so the problem was clearly in the drives. The first time, we thought it was a fluke. But when we saw the repeated failures, we searched the Web and discovered that many people had reported similar problems.
Summary: I bought this drive to use as a boot drive for my vmware Vshpere 5 server that I built using an HP Pavilion PC. I was a bit worried since some other reviews report theirs dying over time, but since vmware doesn't hold any data other than OS files and wouldn't be hard to reinstall, I decided to give it a shot. Obviously, being an SSD, it is way faster, quieter and cooler than the legacy hard drive it replaced.
Summary: I've had 5 of these drives and 3 have failed within 6 months. These were early 002 revisions and kingston claims to have fixed the problem. They are at revision 025 now. Support has always been top notch and RMA process painless, however, I would be wary of using these. Following the first failure I ran 2 of them in Raid1 as a mirror just in case and this has saved me twice. Shipped one back then resilvered the mirror with the replacement drive.
Summary: My needs are very simple and a 16gb ssd is all I need for my OS drive. My storage data rests on a spinner while this cool, quiet, fast lil baby operates the brains of my system. Only takes about 30 seconds to boot into Vista Ultimate 64-bit AND begin playing without any lagging (I've insanely customized the OS for fast booting). Write speeds could be better though, the "spinner" still writes faster...
Great for running an OS for a NAS or other embedded system.

Summary: I ordered this to run my OS for my new NAS box and it works great. Low power and durability are what I was looking for. I also thought I was buying it used, but it came new in the package, so a little extra bonus there. No surprises = happy customer.
Summary: Installed this drive in my HTPC. It is really fast but after 3 months it started having enough errors to make the machine extremely unstable. This was a boot/OS drive and did not contain any data, so it was not working really hard or being subjected to undue read/write cycles.
Summary: SSDNow S100 16GB works great for a small Netbook XP-32 installaton. Fast reads (especially for 4K) gives great XP-32 performance. Somewhat slower writes has no slowing effect. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 (C) 2007-2010 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : [...
Summary: This hard drive is pretty slick. I have a G73JW Asus gaming laptop and I stuck it in there with my 500 GB and rebooted the system onto the solid state. Only one problem you wont be able to install all the windows updates so the OS will always be slightly behind. A friend told me I should use it as a paging file but I have 8 GB's of RAM so that's not really necessary. I would suggest to buy either the 30 GB Kingston or the 64 GB Kingston.
