Great for running an OS for a NAS or other embedded system.

Summary: I ordered this to run my OS for my new NAS box and it works great. Low power and durability are what I was looking for. I also thought I was buying it used, but it came new in the package, so a little extra bonus there. No surprises = happy customer.
Summary: Installed this drive in my HTPC. It is really fast but after 3 months it started having enough errors to make the machine extremely unstable. This was a boot/OS drive and did not contain any data, so it was not working really hard or being subjected to undue read/write cycles.
Summary: SSDNow S100 16GB works great for a small Netbook XP-32 installaton. Fast reads (especially for 4K) gives great XP-32 performance. Somewhat slower writes has no slowing effect. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 (C) 2007-2010 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : [...
Summary: This hard drive is pretty slick. I have a G73JW Asus gaming laptop and I stuck it in there with my 500 GB and rebooted the system onto the solid state. Only one problem you wont be able to install all the windows updates so the OS will always be slightly behind. A friend told me I should use it as a paging file but I have 8 GB's of RAM so that's not really necessary. I would suggest to buy either the 30 GB Kingston or the 64 GB Kingston.
Summary: Although this is the version of the HD geared toward non-windows OEM devices and Kiosks, I didn't have any problems getting Windows XP Pro-64 bit on it. I purchased this to use as my Boot Disk on a file server at my home. I purchased an off-lease HP Workstation Tower and used this SSD along with four Samsung 2tb Green Hard Drives. Since the green drives spin down when not in use, this SSD makes the perfect (Fault-proof) boot drive.
excellent boot drive (or system drive for small system)

Summary: I won't use spinning disks anymore for boot drives now that mainline SSDs have hit the 60 dollar mark. They are ridiculously faster for boot, application loads, and well, everything. So much so that a slow processor and fast drive will be perceived faster than a machine with a faster processor and a spinning disk most of the time.
Probleme bei der Qualitätssicherung bei Kingston - die Zweite.
8 June 2013
Summary: Probleme bei der Qualitätssicherung bei Kingston – die Zweite.
