The ioSafe Squadron comes with product support access, Disaster Recovery Service which is available upon product registration and is covered by a three year warranty. The unit measures 4.0“ x 1.0” x 5.8“ and weighs 1.5 lbs.

The ioSafe Squadron is an internal hard disk drive that is tested to be fireproof up to 1400° F for 15 minutes and waterproof in up to 5 feet of fresh water or salt water for 24 hours. It is designed with reflective heat shield which deflects over 98 percent of the radiant heat from a fire, further protecting critical data. The ioSafe Squadron also features patented air flow cooling which ensures the hard drive’s reliability during normal day to day use. The unit is covered by a 3 year warranty and $2,500 Data Recovery Service which can be upgraded to 5 Year, for up to $5,000 per disk. The ioSafe Squadron supports a SATA II interface, allowing users to install the unit in any server, DVR, external storage array for plug and play computer upgrades.
