great processor, terrible stock fan

Matt P., Newegg
19 December 2013
  • Summary: Just make sure you buy a decent fan for it, I'm sure the laughable fan that came with it would work but that should be your last option.
  • Pros: Awesome power for the price! This thing really is a beast and like I already stated the price is fantastic. Runs cool with an AMD stock fan from an 8350 (10C idle 30C under load) I've been playing battlefield 4 on high-ultra with this and a 7870 and it's load only about 60% while I'm playing.

BIOS beware

Alan S., Newegg
19 August 2013
  • Summary: Always a great buy at newegg. Keep it going guys.
  • Pros: Awesomeeee card. Silent, 30% faster than my old 680 gtx.
  • Cons: Not a con, but I had I update my bios to the latest version. It was hanging up on boot. So beware and do some research on your bios before installing it. Uefi/legacy issues I think. If you have a micro atx, it might not fit. Check the size as well.

Waste of money

technerd, Amazon
25 January 2013
  • Summary: I was expecting to buy an 800 gig SSD to put into a new server as a primary boot drive. As a heavy buyer of both 710 series and previously X25-E drives, I was expecting flawless integration. Instead what I got, was a $4,000 paperweight.
