  • Summary: I'm hoping that somehow an Intel support person picks up on this with an answer. Otherwise, I'll have to say that the failure for the Intel Drive to operate in any kind of normal condition is makes it defective. Newegg has a 30-day return/replace policy - maybe the next one will work better??
