Summary: I have an older HP desktop that I have upgraded pretty much everything in to deal with ripping my entire DVD/Bluray library over the past 6 months, so I can view everything over DLNA. I'm running an firstname.lastname@example.orgGhz (quad core/muli-threaded to 8), 12G ram, MSI Nvidia 650Ti vid card, 600W PSU.
Pros: With my old seagate hybrid 1T drive, after the bios screen, my sata controller screen and video card screen, it would take between 3.5-4 minutes to load windows 7 home premium 64bit fully including choosing a user profile. I had rebooted 15-20 times in a row to try and coax the hybrid drive to lo...
Cons: The only con I have is the software that came with it to clone my current drive would not work no matter what I did or how I plugged things in. It just kept giving me an error message that was nondescript. I ended up using a free version of Macrium Reflect, which worked flawlessly to clone my old...

Summary: Don't let the troubles I had scare you away from this drive. It is a great drive and it will serve you well. Asus Z87 Pro mother board Intel Core i7-4770K Processor G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 X 8GB) Memory EVGA GTX 460 Graphics Card
Pros: I upgraded this from a 500GB WD Green hard drive and it runs circles around it. I migrated Windows 7 onto it from my old drive. Once I got the all the bugs worked out it runs great.
Cons: Doesn't play well with SATA raid option on my mother board. I am running an ASUS Z87 Pro and I was using it with a raid setup on two WD 2TB blacks and a single WD 500GB green without any issues. But as soon as this drive was installed with the OS on it, it would not load windows and it would give...
Summary: I rated as 4 not 5 because the provided disk cloaning software did not work. The drive itself rates a 5. My Intel 335 SSD arrived on time and packaged well. I was unable to clone the existing disk using the latest version of the Intel software (from the web site).
Summary: Don't buy this if you want the fastest SSD on the market. Buy it if you want one of the most reliable drives. I switched from a 10,000 rpm WD velociraptor so the speed difference was good…not great. 10 seconds to bios screen then another 10 seconds to windows.
Pros: Size, price, loading programs, no bog down or waiting for things to load.
Pros: my windows rating went from 5.9 to 7.5 for the drive. not bad. It does boot up faster. the cloning software was easy to use. THANK HEAVEN nice mounting hardware. extra screws. nice!
Cons: Apparently, the toolbox maintenance sofware will not update the firmware for this drive because it is installed on an IDE channel. I am not all that tech savvy, and a little research in changing the drive from IDE to whatever seems to involve getting into the registry. i'm a bit disappointed that...
Summary: I bought this for one reason only - a customer's computer that I was doing security hardening on had one of this model, and I wanted to make sure that the changes I made would work on it before I committed them to the customer's machine.
