Intel 330 Series SSD 180 GB

techPowerUp!
21 December 2012
  • Summary: Intel's 330 Series SSD offers 180 GB of storage capacity, which has the potential to turn into the new sweet spot segment. Nowadays, drives with 120 GB end up being too small for many users, but 240 GB is still too expensive. Also, many users don't need 240 GB of capacity for their Windows installation and applications, especially if they have a large HDD for storage of media files and downloads.
  • Pros: Extra capacity vs 120 GB drives, Low cost per gigabyte, SATA 6 Gbps support, Supports TRIM, 3-year warranty
  • Cons: Slower than typical high-end SSDs

Intel 330 Series SSD Review, Upgrading the ThinkPad W520

laptopreviews.com
8 June 2012
  • Conclusion: For the first few generations of SSD, Intel was popular due to their high-quality, in-house controllers and flash chips (X-25 series, 320 series) as well as using high-quality, third-party controllers for their performance-oriented SSD (510 series, Marvell controller). While Intel has always been priced higher than competing SSDs per GB, the old reasoning behind this was because of early SandForce controller issues.

Intel 330 Series 120GB SATA 3 SSD Review – LSI SandForce Performance With Unbeatable Value

thessdreview.com
26 April 2012
  • Conclusion: The top SSD we have tested to date is the Intel 520 240GB SSD and the Intel 330 definitely seems to follow in it’s footsteps, but at a much lower price point.  The working components of both SSDs are of identical description with the 330 Series containing only eight modules of memory to the 520′s sixteen which makes sense as the 520 is a 240GB SSD.

Expert Review

  • Pros: Performances générales, Amélioration dans certains pole, 120 Go accessible
  • Cons: Perte en temps d'accès

Teste da Unidade SSD Intel 330 Series 120 GB

Clube do Hardware
20 November 2012

Intel 330 Series SSD 180 GB

Hardware.no
31 October 2012
