Summary: I installed a pair of these drives on our HP ML350 G6 server. It had been a while since I'd installed any new hardware. I had to configure the pair as a RAID 0+1 array. Was easy enough once I got into the firmware configuration program.
Work great, plug and play with ML380 G6 and DL370 G6

Summary: I am using them in Raid 5 array with lab machines. These are very good, very reliable drives. Not necessarily the fastest (they are 7200RPM but they are reliable, sturdy, and I have yet to have a single one fail. Recommended if you need lots of storage.
Summary: I purchased 8 of these to install in a HP Proliant server I was upgrading. They have been running for about 6 weeks now with no issues. These are server drives. Why does newegg have them listed under laptop drives?
Pros: Easy to install, Hot swappable, compact size, manufactured to run 24/7/365 The hardware for installing the drive is already attached so you just slide them into the server until they click into place. No tools required. (This is assuming you are installing them in a HP server.)
Cons: Price. They are expensive when compared to a similar size consumer class drive.
