Good price - best drive for MTBF
Patrick L., Amazon
Summary: Better specs than Seagate as far as MTBF (I bought 3 of these) - have owned them for about 6 months now and no issues so far. Using a Crucial SSD for my system drive so speed is not the reason I bought it.
So loud, don't if it just is a loud HDD, or it is failing.

Summary: Super loud, my computer boots up fast, but on startup it is especially loud, it quiets down a little after like an hour. Also when it I was playing fallout new vegas, it got so loud i actually paused my game looked at my computer with a "Oh my god" expression, do yourself a favor and buy a Western...
Summary: i love these and all hitachi drives... i have over 70 x hitachi drives running 24/7 from 1-6 years old, and have only had 1 PARTIAL failure (drive still runs but clicks every so often and is slightly slower, but not a full out failure), these are in various HW raid setups.
Summary: worth it 0 power on hours 750gb i use it on my desktop for gaming i dont hear it loud like most people say even if it was you can just change its settings using crystal info or other programs change the aam settings to quiet=D well its worth it
Summary: So I bought this about a few months ago when I built my pc. Over the weekend I turned off my computer but when I went to turn it on it says there has been a shortage of failer for the harddrive. So now when I boot my pc up all I get is a black screen and a flashing underscore in the top left.
