The Hitachi Ultrastar™ C10K600 is a 2.5-inch 10,000 RPM hard drive that provides users with 18% faster sequential and up to 15% random performance. Supporting SAS 6Gb/s interface, the hard drive supports a 64MB cache buffer to optimize the read/write response time, is designed in a 10K RPM 2.5-inch form factor, uses 22% less power during operation; has a 450GB capacity which enables 3.5- to 2.5 inch form factor transition; and has a halogen-reduced design. It is compatible for Enterprise-class servers, Networked storage arrays, space and/or power constrained environments, Gaming PCs, small-form-factor video devices, databases and Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), Blade and 1U/2U rack-mounted servers and Cloud Computing.
