Summary: Replaced my original PS3 drive from 2006 which lasted almost 7 years. Old HDD failed and could not be recovered or repaired. I picked up this new drive as a plug-n-play replacement, and PS3 recognized and configured first time it booted. Its been a few months now and no issues; I expect this to last well after the P4 comes out!
Summary: I bought this to put in my nephew's laptop when I rebuilt it for him. He's happy with it. I'm happy that he's happy, and it's made his first semester of college a little easier to deal with. No complaints here.
Summary: Got this to fix a friend's old laptop that still was powerful enough for him but simply had the hard drive wear out. I managed to salvage his old data and replace the failing drive with this one. (The old drive was a ~100GB Travelstar so this was literally a drop in replacement with some bonus gigs.) I have several other Travelstar drives and they really last.
Summary: This hard drive remember things. Lots of things. So many words fit on disk event though it is thin like a good woman. So narrow I can see light very easily without having to squint while disk drive is close to face. This disk remembers so much you won't need your household library anymore. I used the place where my library was to build an office building.
