Great & reliable IDE hard drive
30 June 2014
Summary: A good disk drive for replacement of your old IDE drive in your aging PC. These IDE drives are hard to find anymore and usually at a high price. This one was reasonable in price and worked perfectly.
Summary: No where in the description was it mentioned (that I could see) that stated the drive would be used or refurbished. I ordered 3 drives and all of them had date codes on the drive label of October 2007 So they are now 7 years old. Crazy!!!! If I could give a ZERO or Minus, I would have.!!! not worth even sending them back due to shipping....etc... Just absolutely don't trust this Seller.
Summary: Purchased after considerable research for most reliable hard drive to back up the operating system drive on a four drive desktop. This was the number one for large server operators. No problems cloning, as for reliability, time will tell. So far, an excellent drive for the price.
Summary: I bought this hard drive a while back and i absolutely love it. It has not crashed one single time for the past year or two that i bought it. I put this hard drive on long continues hours of work and it always boots up and is quick. For 7200rpms, it gets the job done. Not as fast as an ssd, but the price is amazing for the storage.
This drive purchased brand new malfunctioned on day 2 of having it.

Summary: I purchased this drive to function as the main back up drive for my Mac Pro desktop. The specifications on the drive I ordered are identical to the one that came with the Mac Pro seven years ago. The drive that was sent to me appeared the same and has the same label and identifiers. The drive worked for less than one day and then its disk reported a fatal hardware error to the Disk Utility software in the Mac Pro.
Summary: Like it a lot. Works great in the computer I just built for my niece. Plenty of space for files, movies, games, etc. More than she will need. Read and writes pretty quickly. Have one in another computer I built about 5 years ago and it works just fine. Definitely recommend to friends and family.
