It works. It's an SSD

Gage G., Newegg
30 June 2015
  • Summary: 240 GB in a gaming rig is really tight. I may have to reclaim my HDD for installing less important games and applications.
  • Pros: Boots Windows in a timely manner. Loads applications the same way.
  • Cons: Doesn't make quantum portals.

Drive is working great

Pat S., Newegg
3 June 2015
  • Pros: Everything installed fine. It didn't need to have a firmware to run correctly. I'm not saying there isn't a firmware update out there for this drive but it didn't have to have one. Speeds are as listed on my Killer X99X board and I'm very pleased with the performance. Price was good shipping was ...

Good, solid SSD

Skeletor J., Newegg
24 May 2015
  • Summary: Good bang for buck. Not the fastest drive out there, but not the most expensive either. If you are not looking for anything fancy, and just want a reliable SSD, this may be the one for you!
  • Pros: Crucial is a trusted name brand and does not disappoint with this SSD. Windows installation when quickly and flawlessly. Booted extremely fast, until Windows was updated. File transfer speeds are excellent for the price. Does not heat up.
  • Cons: Boot time increased dramatically once software was loaded onto it. Boot times went from less than 15 seconds to more than a full minute after updates. Does NOT come with a SATA cord. Would have been nice if it had.
