Corsair SandForce

The Corsair SandForce is a solid state drive available in two capacities of 200GB and 100GB. It supports read/write speeds of up to 285mb/s and 275mb/s. Designed based on the Sandforce controller, the solid state drive supports faster load times for applications and games overall system responsiveness. It is designed in a 2.5“ form factor that is compatible with notebook or netbook, and comes with an included 3.5” bracket for a desktop computer. Because the solid state drive technology does not have any moving parts, the unit provides users with minimal noise operation and durability. It also has lower power consumption, thus extending battery life for notebook and netbook users. Its mean time between failure (MTBF) is 1,000,000 hours.

Features

The Corsair SandForce supports a maximum sequential read speed 285MB/second and a maximum sequential write speed 275 MB/second and is based on the latest generation of Sandforce controller and MLC NAND flash. The Corsair SandForce supports an internal SATA II connectivity, and has TRIM support (O/S support required). The Corsair SandForce is covered by a two year warranty.
