Summary: I use this drive in a thinkpad T510 with the most up to date bios
Pros: Excellent i/o speed, power consumption versus mechanical drive, gave a small but noticeable increase in battery life in my laptop. So far, I've had the drive for 6 months with minimal problems.
Cons: Occasionally, my laptop will refuse to boot saying 'hard drive initialization error', and I will have to restart it a few times. I haven't made any attempt to diagnose this, so I can't say if there is a problem with the drive versus the laptop's bios, however, it's a tad unsettling.
Pros: I had some concerns replacing my SAMSUNG 470 128 with a Corsair but I needed the space and I was looking for best value to upgrade to 240+ Gig. So I decided to try yhr Corsair. Glad I didi it works flawlessly so far and perfomance is truly a blessing. I highly reccoment it I plan to get one for m...
Cons: None that I've foound so far good value so far great reliability!
Pros: Ok I bought 2 of these also for raid 0, The thing i didnt notice was no support for trim :( also i had to RMA 1 because the sataIII conector on the HD was very flemsy and broke so the hard drive quit working!! Other then that very fast and dependable just be careful fitting into tight places or h...
Cons: Needs a better casing for the sata connector
Pros: I previously had a 32gb Kingston SSD that failed on me within a few months. When I purchased this one not only did it run smoothly, but I didn't have any problems with hard drive space randomly disappearing either. It was also the same price as the 32gb so not only is it more reliable, but more i...
Cons: The metal mount it came with doesn't fit all the way in my case as well as I would have hoped and didn't include enough screws to make the ssd completely secure inside the case. So it took a minute to think of the most strategic place for putting them. Just a minor thing tho, as the drive itself ...
Summary: easy peasy plug it in go into bios make sure under storage devices its set to AHCI (think thats what it is) installed win7 had no issues with that . only issue i had was when my puter went into hyber mode all of a sudden my 60gig ssd went to 15gig remaining.
Pros: Great SSD and price
Cons: only 1000 char's for other thoughts you loose an egg for that
Summary: I might have just gotten a bad one since most reviews do not indicate a reliability problem. I can live with that, but the RMA process left a sour taste in my mouth.
Pros: This thing is really fast. I have a pretty new system with SATA 3 and a fast posting motherboard and it boots insanely fast. It's much quicker than the one year old SATA2 SSD I have in my laptop.
Cons: I had to RMA it after 6 months and the RMA process with Corsair was slower than I have come accustomed to. Including shipping time, which I had to pay for one way, I was without a drive for 16 days. That's not cool on a 6 month old drive.
