Summary: Excellent product .... highly recommended ... really works ... boot in just 8 seconds(post in 3 seconds), fantastic, tested on SATA 3 and their speeds are 515 MB/S reading and 430 MB/s writing ..... please make a recommended improvements to Windows 7 like disable prefetch, hibernation, disk caches, so please visit forums like this "Sean's Windows 7 Install & Optimization Guide for SSDs & HDDs" and READ IT BEFORE you gonna install w7 in this SSD Costa Rica....Pura Vida!!!
Summary: This is my first SSD and I researched for months prior to spending the money. I was going to get the Crucial M4 like everyone does, but I wanted something more. I have not been disappointed in any way, installed my windows 7 ultimate in NO time, loads windows and turns off in matter of seconds. I did have to change some bios settings, as after I used the SSD for booting, it would not boot after going into sleep mode.
Summary: Corsair Performance Pro Series 2.5 Inch 256 GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (CSSD-P256GBP-BK) After trying many ssds and none of them living up to their hype, I bought this product. It's Marvell controlled and all the others I tried were Sandforce, this has the best all around consistant performance I've been looking for. I get almost 900 on the AS SSD benchmark tool.Very reasonably priced too.Amazon thank you for your patience with me,I am a huge fan of yours!
Summary: When I was looking to purchase a solid state drive for my computer, I spent weeks agonizing over whether or not I should purchase a Sandforce based drive, or keep it safe with a Marvel based controller (such as the one in this drive) or something else. While most SSD's at this point in time are over their early bugs and other problems, I wasn't sure I wanted to bite into the Sandforce world and regret it in the end.
Summary: I would like to share my user experience with others vs. discussing performance gains. If you have gotten this far, you already know this thing screams. I bought this to replace a very good WD Caviar black drive on my white Macbook (core 2 Duo). I used Superduper to clone my original drive and it took me only 10 minutes or so to switch out the existing drive and replace it with the corsair.
Summary: The product was shipped quickly, and the packaging from Corsair was great. They include the 2.5" to 3.5" adapter, though it didn't really work for my purposes. If you have drives bays that slide in using proprietary rails, this may not work for you either. Either way, I was able to get 400MB+ Read and 300MB+ Write on most benchmarks.
Summary: Ordered this on 21st Jan arrived in 2-days time as expected. 1) Secure erased via Linux Boot CD. 2) Used Acronis True Image to Restore old System's Boot image onto this. 3) Created 4GB RAM Drive Disk and placed into it System's TEMP folders, IE and Firefox Cache e.t.c 4) With 63% of the drive filled I came to the following Benchmarking Results: ----------------- Crystal Disk Mark 3.0.1 x64 ------------------ Read Write (Mb/s) Seq: 450.4 407.9 512k: 351.8 385.9 4k: 25.50...
Useful as a fast boot device or as superfast portable storage

Summary: I won this as a prize and it is a very nice one. SSD (solid state drives) are a format of drives in 2.5-inch form factor and which can be used as an alternative boot drive for a laptop or a desktop. A 3.5-inch carrier/converter is provided within the pack together with the necessary screws. They are very rugged and do not have any moving parts and so are power-saving.
