Summary: The drive was dead as soon as I took it out of the box. I tried it in 2 very modern computers without success. The BIOS didn't even know it was there. Not even useful as a paperweight as it is too light...

Summary: This is a WASTE of your hard earned money and data. After searching online I found that this is a COMMON ISSUE among corsair SSD's. PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! You won't only loose your money but your data as well.
Update: Overheats (old: Very fast - best bang for your buck at the time)

Summary: Updated review (3/20/2013): My laptop starts hanging. Hard disk not responding. Restart indicates hard disk not found. Disk feels really hot. After a little time to cool down, the disk becomes available again. Started out just once a week, now it happens several times per day.
Summary: In the future I will only purchase products of any cost that have a high rating. There were no ratings on this one, but as I said thought it should be ok. Wish I could give it 0 eggs, so that is not an option, so the one egg does not mean a minimal degree of acceptability, it means 0 acceptability.
Pros: A good size SSD drive.
Cons: The drive continually drops. it is really worse than getting a drive that is flat out DOA. I have been swapping it between USB 3.0 enclosures with no difference. I have a Corsair 128 G drive that is great so thought this one should be fine.
Summary: I bought this drive with hopes it would be as good as claimed. Unfortunately, I am having to return it because it is not recognized in the bios of my new Acer Aspire One AO756. Calls to Corsair came up empty. They said to return the drive.
Cons: A very low performer. The performance was well below specifications. I upgraded from a much cheaper SSD and found the GTX to be much slower. I even had some data corruption problems. I returned the SSD.
Cons: Dismal performance, Benchmarked it and it operated about as fast as a USB 2.0 drive. Not system Drive material at all. Hoping Newegg just got a bad batch and this will all be resolved. Normally have great luck with Corsair products.
Summary: Newegg refuses to provide me with a refund. They say because it covered by the manufactures warranty. That warranty states that I have to mail the SSD to Hong Kong at my risk and my expense. After years of purchases from Newegg with no previous RMA's I am saying Goodbye.
Cons: The performance on this SSD is very low and not in line with the advertised performance. I am comping with an SSD that I purchased from Newegg at half the price 20 day s earlier. The transfer rate scores a 5.9 with Windows 7 against the other SSD score 7.0 with much lowere advertised performance....
