Summary: It requires 8 mounting screws, 4 to mount the drive on the bracket and 4 to mount the bracket in the case. It comes with 4 screws that fit neither purpose. There are no instructions. Make sure you mount the drive on the bracket the right way up so it does not hang over the edge.
Summary: Bought this SSD to install Windows 7 and pretty much any of my most demanding programs. Until today, I hadn't had any problems and it runs smooth and fast. Would recommend this to any one who looks for a good and reliable SSD.
Summary: I bought 2 of these about 45 days ago for a new system I am putting together. Unfortunately one of them was DOA. I didn't actually use them until after Amazon's 30 day return policy. The Corsair RMA process was fairly painless.
Pros: Wanted an SSD that I could also put my main video games on, not the small 60GB boot drive. Over a year after I bought it, still puts up the same numbers it did when it was new. All I did was flash the firmware via corsairs website. Connected to sate 6Gbps port,
Cons: Price, while I'm sure they are cheaper now. when released this was about a $ a gig, corsair always makes quality, so I always buy corsair, PSU, Cooling solution, SSD.
Summary: For some reason, my computer only recognizes 203GB of the supposed 240 capacity, minus the OS. Yes!, its better than the last recognized 90GB from my past corsair 120GB SSD Force GT, but still, I bought 240GB and I would expect to be able to use them completely, or maybe it is that I did something...
Summary: This was my first experience with SSD. WOW!! Huge difference. Boot times in under 20-25 seconds are the norm with this thing. Easy to install. Just wonderful. I wholeheartedly trust the Corsair name and this has been a "WOW" product for me. Again, my first SSD.
