Summary: Very fast and easy to install.By the time you've finished installing it, it has already copied your hard drive. I also copied an old external hard drive to another Buffalo. So much smaller and easy to carry.

Summary: When I first gor this I loved it but 2 weeks ago I went to use it and it no longer works . I tried changing usb cables with my 250gb wd passport portable harddrive but this didnt fix the problem . I wont be purchasing anything else from this maker .
Summary: it worked for about 20 minutes. and DON'T install any of the s/w that comes with it. almost impossible to uninstall. it was working fine and just stopped dead. tried another cable. tried another computer. dead, dead, dead.

Summary: I bought the Buffalo MiniStation Stealth 500 GB USB 2 through Amazon in summer 2011. I loved it. The software was cool, the drive is small, sleek and silent. I filled it with back-up's of my photos.

Summary: I found thyis while specificly looking for a USB hard drive that said preformatted FAT32, to use for backup of game console data. The description says that these are FAT32 preformatted, but they are NTFS like most others and not compatible with game consoles and older (not NTFS) PCs.
