Summary: I bought two of these and put it on my GA-X58A-UD3R v2.0, set it up on RAID0 and the speed is incredibly fast. My OS is Win7 x64. Very easy to set up. I got a 7.8 mark on the windows benchmark on the hdd item.
Summary: This will be the 4th Adata SSD I've purchased & they are great. I installed one on a 2 year old laptop & it boots into Windows 7 in about 12 seconds. I installed another one on a new Dell Vostro 230 & it boots into Windows 7 in about 10 seconds. Will definately purchase again !
Summary: So far this SSD has done exactly what I've needed. The only issue is that I couldn't use 128GB of memory. I would like to purchase one with at least double the capacity, but this one does for now. I'd rather have enough info backed up in case of a failure, than none because I wanted it all.
Summary: I've been using this in a new PC for a little over 3 months now without a bit of trouble. My Windows 7 experience index is 7.6 for hard drive data transfer rate (max score available is 7.9). If you've never used a solid state hard drive before you will be absolutely amazed. This one in particular is an excellent value by several measures - cost per GB, cost per IOPs, and read/write performance.
Summary: Have 2 of these, one in a Z61t and another in an MBP and both are great. Blazing fast boot times, sub 10s, same with shutdown times in both Win7 and SL. Large apps with tons of plugins like Photoshop CS5 load really quick. I've filled both over their lives and unlike older controllers the Sandforce SF-1222 resists seasoning which kills write performance over time. The only drawback is the obvious price per GB.
Summary: I am happy with this ADATA SSD. Dramatically increases the bootup and shutdown speed of my laptop. Let me save you a lot of time and frustration. If you are running Windows 7 and are trying to upgrade the firmware of the S599 SSD, you NEED to run the ADATA software in Windows XP Compatibility Mode for a successful upgrade. Also, Windows 7 does not recognize this drive as a SSD, so you will need to manually change all of the settings in Windows for optimal performance.
Summary: The turnaround from the shipper was excellent. It met most of my expectations to use it as a boot drive on a desktop running W7. I have several external USB drives that are usually connected. When these drives are disconnected, it boots much faster (78 seconds vs. 133 seconds on the original hard drive). However, when they are connected the boot is slightly slower, but sometimes the shutdown is over 2 minutes vs. 17 seconds.
Summary: Great product! Used two ADATA 64GB SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration with Gigabyte's X58A-UD3R rev 2.0 motherboard and Windows 7 64-bit. I had no problems with installation or execution. Excellent price to performance ratio if you are considering getting SSDs.
