Summary: I bought two of these and put it on my GA-X58A-UD3R v2.0, set it up on RAID0 and the speed is incredibly fast. My OS is Win7 x64. Very easy to set up. I got a 7.8 mark on the windows benchmark on the hdd item.
Summary: Very fast drive. No problems so far. Concerned about longevity of solid state drives, but of course only time will tell. Also I recommend only using ssds with window 7 as other operating systems don't really have the maintenance features required such TRIM. Eventually this will cause your drive to perform poorly.
Pros: Very fast. Decreased boot time significantly. I use it to run windows 7.
Cons: Data transfer isn't as fast as I expected, but that's ok. If I wanted a faster drive I should have spent more money lol.
Summary: put this in new rig to run OS and anti virus software only. but Windows 7 is filling it up with updates ect. at orig install had used only 22 gigs now after 1 month got 8 gigs left hope microsoft gets all the bugs out soon(I really wanted a 160 gig unit anyways)
Pros: small / quiet/ stays cool/ FAST!!!! loads windows in 18 seconds and shuts down in 3 to 4 seconds intalled 53,000 updates from microsoft in less than a minute
Summary: So far this SSD has done exactly what I've needed. The only issue is that I couldn't use 128GB of memory. I would like to purchase one with at least double the capacity, but this one does for now. I'd rather have enough info backed up in case of a failure, than none because I wanted it all.
