Excellent!

Randy F., Newegg
6 April 2012
  • Summary: Some issues with creating custom partitions in a Linux Mint 12 install, but that's not Adata's fault in the least, and is easy enough to fix.
  • Pros: My first SSD, performance is amazing compared to HDDs I've used in the past.
  • Cons: None that I can tell.

Works great

Mark S., Newegg
16 February 2012
  • Summary: make sure to use with the SATA controller set to AHCI mode to get it to function as fast as possible
  • Pros: I bought this almost a year ago back when SSDs were still kind of a new tech. This thing worked great and still does to this day as an OS drive.
  • Cons: Capacity is low of course, but if you're only going to put the OS and maybe a couple of larger programs on it, it works great.

8 October 2011
  • Pros: My First SSD! I have tried it in all of my boxes and it's pretty quick. Even put it in my Untangle UTM box for a month.
  • Cons: 40GB doesn't go very far after Win 7 Ultimate install

Good SSD so far

Tyler S., Newegg
15 May 2011
  • Summary: Very fast drive. No problems so far. Concerned about longevity of solid state drives, but of course only time will tell. Also I recommend only using ssds with window 7 as other operating systems don't really have the maintenance features required such TRIM. Eventually this will cause your drive to perform poorly.
  • Pros: Very fast. Decreased boot time significantly. I use it to run windows 7.
  • Cons: Data transfer isn't as fast as I expected, but that's ok. If I wanted a faster drive I should have spent more money lol.

Great little SSD

Heir, Amazon
18 April 2011
  • Summary: So far this SSD has done exactly what I've needed. The only issue is that I couldn't use 128GB of memory. I would like to purchase one with at least double the capacity, but this one does for now. I'd rather have enough info backed up in case of a failure, than none because I wanted it all.
