Good until Death

  • Summary: I wish it had a longer lifespan, I don't think I would actually use another SSD for a year or two.
  • Pros: Price was low and the size was large enough to put Windows 8 as well as some games on it.
  • Cons: After 2 months of less than moderate use, the SSD died. I work full time, so it's rare that I have my computer on for more than four hours a day. Yesterday I was getting several BSOD in an hour until eventually I could no longer load windows.

not the speed i wanted

  • Summary: i have a considerable amount of experience building my own computers and own over half a down ssds in various systems. I splurged on this because of a lightning deal that made it seem irresistible. Unfortunately, the speeds were unimpressive based on my benchmarks using crystal mark and atto compared with my mid level ssds. On the bright side, it was faster than most of my hdds, on the other hand, i own usb flash drives that can outperform this. Viva Sandisk...
