Summary: I purchased the 256GB drive and formatted it and installed windows 7 flawlessly. The drive works the way is supposed to. I tested the speed of the drive and i am only getting about 250MB/s data transfer, but that is only because i have an older motherboard that is limiting the full potential speed of the SSD drive. Still, my system has improved at boot up and when opening programs mostly.
Summary: I wish that i had sata3 instead of sata2, but this still sped boot time up considerably. I also bought one for the wife's computer. The cloning software could have been better. I did not want to clone the recovery partition, but I had no choice but to do so.
Summary: I have replaced a few drives with SSD's and chose this drive, first to replace my son's hard drive, then I recently rebuilt a 6 year old Macbook with one of these and a bunch more RAM and it compares with my $1800 dell ultrabook! A GREAT INVESTMENT! I may add another and set up a RAID.
Summary: Solid SSD. I didn't do any bench-marking but my Windows 7 Ultimate starts up within 10-15 seconds (the windows logo barely starts its animation before I'm moved to the welcome screen). Loads up games amazingly fast too! (I have Planetside 2 installed on this SSD and it loads up super fast.
Summary: I use this little guy to run my OS, drivers, and other small apps on my Gaming PC. IT runs great, no problems so far. 128GB doesn't go as far as it use to though. I am approaching half capacity already. 3 year warranty is very encouraging. Great way to take some heat out of your Build and add some serious speed, over HDD anyways.
Summary: I'm using this as a replacement drive in my netbook. It replaces a hard disk, so it definitely impresses with its rocket-like boot times. If you have a notebook or netbook with an old school hard disk, definitely go SSD, even if you have to delete some crud from your old filesystems. Consider shifting your "attic clutter" to a big & cheap USB2 thumb drive. As with all SSDs, beware the issue of the bay thickness versus the drive thickness.
Summary: Works as promised and I use it daily and have found my applications and OS load much faster. There have been no issues with the ADATA brand so I cannot comment on their support at this time.
Pros: Price and performance better than expected. This was my first ADATA purchase and my third SSD purchase. So I am still testing the waters on both price and performance. The prices have dropped enough at this point to justify the purchase. So far all 3 SSD are working as advertised with no issues to report. However, I will have to see if they live up to their claims for lifespan.
