Summary: these little drums are pretty with great sound, my 2 year old plays them since he was a little baby.. he stands on them, jumps and bangs whatever he finds to check the different sounds.. very recommended.

Summary: Our son is 8 months and just about starting to sit-up and explore things with his hands rather than his tongue. We noticed that he likes to constantly beat any surface in front of him and that is where the idea to buy him drums came from.
Summary: I bought this for my nephew a few years ago. After numerous poundings and kids standing on them these bongos are still holding strong. This is a highly durable bongo. My only complaint is that the two bongos do not sound very different of each other.
Summary: I got these for my 1.5 year old little girl. She can destroy an anvil, but these have held up well. I have caught her standing on them several times, beating them with a wooden mallet and they still held up. The sound is not fantastic, but could be worse.

Summary: I assumed my toddler son would love these drums because he loves music and hitting stuff. He does not dislike them. But he rarely plays with them. They have held up extremely well to his attempts to dismantle them. He does unscrew the thumbscrew that holds them together.
