Summary: i bought this to play with my infant (supervised of course) after seeing how he loved the shakers in his music class. It is a good size for him to grasp and produces a good noise. However it is quite small.
Summary: These eggs are great- they have a snappy sound, and the size is perfect! My 10 month old loves them - it's the perfect distraction when he's getting his diaper changed and needs to stay still and occupied!
Summary: I bought these to have some simple aux percussion when I play with my blues band for some of our latin jazz tunes and they work great and sound really good. Wood ones are better, which is the only reason I only gave four stars, but wood ones are more expensive. This was crazy cheap, so I can't complain.
Summary: I would've given it 5 stars but my 9 month old baby doesn't like it as much as I thought he would after we almost had to buy it for him at the bookstore because he wouldn't let go. That's probably a function of my baby, not the egg shaker. I got 3, yellow, blue and red, and he likes holding them. He really likes when I bang them together. They're tough for him to chew on but he tries and there are no teeth marks whatsoever.
Summary: I do not have any experience with or knowledge about egg shakers, but this one seems like a good product. It looks just like the picture and it feels sturdy and well made it your hand. After playing with it for a while I figured out how to make different sounds by holding it differently, and had fun doing it!
