Love the Eggs
22 January 2012
Summary: We have a set of these for home, and just bought a set for a preschool percussion kit. The whole family loves them, from my 9-month-old, to my 3-year-old, to me. They fit baby hands really well but aren't too small for kids or adults either.
Summary: My 9 month old loves these shakers, he plays with similar ones in a music class we go to. I love that they fit in his hand but he can't really get them in his mouth. The only thing is when you clean them, just wipe the surface, don't submerge them into water.
Summary: Wasn't familiar with egg shakers, but soon found out from other family members at Christmas that these are often used at story hours for "keeping the beat". All the grandchildren love them! They seem age-appropriate for my 7 grandchildren who range in age from 1-8 years old.
Summary: I cannot say enough good about these. I discovered them at a playgroup at another house, they seemed like a fantastic little toy for kids of all ages. I not only bought a set for our family, but I also sent them home as party favors at a birthday party.
Summary: We got our 2 year old and our 3 year old each a set of these egg shakers for Christmas. They play with similar shakers at a musical story time, so I knew they'd go over well. They're so much fun! They're well-constructed & seem extremely safe to me.
Summary: We purchased these mini egg rattles for goody bags for our son's first birthday. They have quite a bit of fill, which makes the rattle feel solid and provides good percussion sound. They fit easily into infant hands and because of their egg shape, they don't roll away easily.
Summary: the sound is sharp and slow. If you use shaker eggs in your music like I do, you won't like these. But if you are looking for a kids toy, they are solid. I use shaker eggs alot when we are playing, and like to hand them out to the audience to play too, but I was a little dissappointed with these.
Summary: For my daycare kids i tried to be thrifty and used leftover plastic easter eggs with rice... what a nightmare! These things stay together, the kids love them, have not busted and have been chewed on , thrown across the room! They are a great addition to music time
Summary: We bought these for our 11 month old twins that LOVE music. However, after a few days, we noticed both of them were covered in black ink and could not figure out where it was coming from. We then discovered that it was the ink on their egg shakers!
