Summary: I bought this kit as a replacement for my acoustic kit for recording mostly, and band practices at my house. I wanted to be able to bring the volume down so I don't drive my wife and baby crazy, and I also thought direct recording without microphones would be a great bonus.
Summary: Mine came with a couple of wingnuts missing but the manufacturer's after sales service was extraordinary and sent me the missing parts very quickly. Best after sales experience i've ever had, and i'm in my late thirties now.
Summary: As my first electronic drum kit, I'd like to say that it's pretty easy to use. Very user-friendly and the drum sounds are of great quality. I'm currently using this kit to play along to the notes in Rock Band 3 so it's awesome. Note that I said playing along to.
Summary: I gave this set to my brother for Christmas. Easy enough to set up. I am not a drummer so maybe this was a rookie mistake but I was a bit upset the thing did NOT come with a kick for the bass drum. What good is a drum without something to hit it with?
Summary: I'd like to give this set a 5 but a 4 is the best I can come up with. It came with 2 broken collars for the rack and some missing wing nuts. The dealer that sent it was a nightmare and wanted me off the phone because he had other customers to deal with.
Summary: I'm a long time musician, new drummer. My only complaint is that two of the rack collars came broken in my shipment from Firemall and I'm still waiting on Alesis to send me the replacements, but for right now it's holding together.
Summary: This kit blows the competition out of the water! All of the included drum sounds are studio quality and can be edited to your liking. The module is very user-friendly, which makes customizing your own kits a breeze.
