Summary: It works perfectly if you follow instructions by the other reviewers. Just put the empty canisters in the freezer and attach the adapter firmly to the larger propane bottle (room temperature) then attach one of your empty canisters from the freezer and make sure the larger propane cylinder is upside...
Summary: this one little fitting saves a ton of money well worth the cost anyone who doesnt want to transport or hike a 20lb bottle around should own one great for camping or hikers who use 1lb bottles easy to use
Summary: The adapter works well. It is easy to use and except for the fact that if it were a right angle device, it would be great. A right angle extension would provide easier loading of the small canister.
Summary: this has been so wonderful really easy to use sense receiving this I have saved so much money well worth the price easy to install on tank b shore to read your directions if you're a camper this is a must have or if you has a big buddy heater allows you to take your heater we are you need it most
Summary: I've been filling my own one pound bottles for years and actually made my own adapter before these were commercially available (Canada). I now live in Arizona and decided to fill my bottles the other night. As you know it is very hot here and it was about 95 deg at the time.
Summary: I've had to change my opinion of this adapter. I found that when I fill the 1-pound bottle from a big one, the big one must be turned on it's side. Otherwise all I got in the 1-pound bottle was gas and it only lasted a short time.
